1957 & Before Reunion Lunch

Yesterday Queens' alumni, with matriculation years ranging from 1942 to 1957, came to college for a Reunion Lunch. The packed event began with a drinks reception in Old Kitchens, followed by a three-course lunch in Old Hall. Celebrating 60 years since matriculation, the 1957 cohort included Queens'-own Professor Allan Hayhurst, and their table was particularly jolly! It was fantastic to see all the alumni and their partners reconnecting and reminiscing about 'the good old days'; especially their stories about what they got up to at Queens'. It was particuarly lovely to see Ken Embleton (1942) who had travelled up from Dorset for the event, and who was the most senior alumnus present!
