What excites me about my subject:It's really diverse and covers a lot of things I didn't think I would be covering. There's a lot of scope and you can gradually specialise as you progress. The lecturers have lively personalities and make geography interesting and humurous as well as something to learn.
What else I get up to in Cambridge:I play for the college mixed lacrosse team, I am a member of the Union and frequently watch debates there, I take classes in Salsa and Latin and Ballroom dancing...
What I think about Queens':It's a lively place and the older students were very receptive and helpful on arrival. It's fairly central so if you want to go out it's easily done. The bar is one of the best in the Uni and give you something to do on a Saturday night or somewhere to hangout with friends when you just can't face work any more.
