Riverside Buildings from Silver Street

Beside the wooden bridge, the red brick building was probably erected in the 1460s and is now part of the President's Lodge. On the corner is the Essex Building of 1756.

The Silver Street bridge was built in 1959 to an earlier design by Lutyens. The balustrade of the bridge echoes that on the roof of Essex Building.
