Arms Hall 1822

Queens' College Cambridge - Hall 1822 - JPEG 37KThis is an enlargement of an initial capital used in several books printed in the 19th century concerning Queens' College. It was first used in a collection of the Statutes of Queens' College by G.C. Gorham, printed in 1822.

The stained glass coats of arms were inserted into the oriel window 1819-22, so this view can be accurately dated.

In this view, it appears that a class is being held on High Table.
