Sprung! 2008

Congratulations to everyone who made Sprung! 2008 a really wonderful event. Also, thanks to everyone who came to see the show, we hope you enjoyed it and will come again next year.

Queens’ College Contemporary Dance Society offers beginner, advanced and creative classes to those who have never danced before and those who are more experienced, members of Queens’ College and non-Queens’ members. These classes take place in the Bowett Room and the Fitzpatrick Hall at Queens’ College, two of the best rehearsal and performance spaces in Cambridge. We are fortunate to have live musical accompaniment for all technique classes.

Our annual Sprung! performance also takes place in the Fitzpatrick Theatre. The Sprung! project provides those who attend the classes at Queens’ with an opportunity to perform and to work with other student groups in a celebration of the joys of spring.

Queens’ Contemporary Dance Group is a flourishing society, always working with other Cambridge University societies and also forming links with dance groups from outside Cambridge. With the continued support of Queens' College, we aim to provide the opportunity and the space to dance, to be inspired, to be creative.
